Just a "Cool Ole Truck" !!!!!! This truck turns heads where ever it is at and you can drive it anywhere that you want to go just watch out for the "speed bumps" because she sit's really low. This 1953 Chevy 3100 Pick-Up body is mounted on a 2000 Chevy S-10 running gear so it has power steering and power disc brakes and drives like a Chevy S-10 and not like a 53 Chevy truck. It now has a 70's model 350 ci V-8 engine and a 350 turbo 3-speed automatic transmission with a B&M shift-kit and the stock S-10 rear-end with a 308 gear so it runs free at highway speed's. The engine is stock with a HOLLEY aluminum intake with a 600 cfi EDELBROCK carburetor & it is topped off with a new 14 inch chrome air cleaner but I replaced the lid with a 15 inch factory wheel cover from a 1956 Chevy Bel-Air car. The engine also has a GM / HEI distributor and HOLLEY chrome valve covers & chrome thermostat housing & new 180 thermostat. The exhust sounds great with the 3/4 shorty headers with 2 1/2 inch pipe and FLOWMASTER muffler's give it a deep sounds. This truck keep's cool with a CHAMPION 2 row aluminum radiator & a new 12 inch electric cooling fan. This truck also has a "pain-less" style wireharness & fuse block. The new "mexican blanket" seat cover and new gray carpet with sound deadner keeps the road sounds down. this truck also has new windshield seal, vent glass seals, all new seals on the door glass & channel. The new white face gauges keep you informed what is going on under the hood. The chrome tilt steering & the 10 inch chrome chain steering wheel give it a neat look. This truck also has a new gas tank & sendor. The body of this truck is solid with new cab corners & cowl panels replaced when the factory color of sea mist green base/coat-clear/coat paint along with copper color rust paint was added to give it that "painta aged" look. This truck also sits on a new set of gray spoke RIDLER alloy rims 18x8 on the front with 245/45R18 Durun radial tires & 20x18 1/2 on the rear with 275/45R20 SAILUN radial tires on the rear. This truck sits & looks great and it sits so low that the frame rails have been "C" notched above the rear-end to clear. I really like this ole truck but I have too many to keep them all so here you go and who ever gets this truck I hope that they have as much fun with it as I have.
