This 1961 Rambler Classic Cross Country Wagon has the inline 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual transmission with "over/drive". This wagon has just had a fresh tune-up with plugs, plug wires, dist cap & button, points and rotor button so it runs great. This little wagon also has a working AM-FM 8-track tape player and when is the last time that you have seen a "traffic viewer" that is in the dash of this little car. This wagon sits on the factory stock steel 15x4 1/2 wheels with the factory Rambler stain-less "dog dish" hub caps. The tires are 205/75R15 Big "O" brand Euro Tour radial tires with about 75% tread and a brand new set of 165/80R15 KUMHO radial tires on the front with 100% tread. This little wagon runs, drives & rides great and it turns heads anywhere that you pull in at. I just got this wagon in on trade from some friends of mine and I had the top, side trim and wheels painted cream color to give it that classic 60"s look. Just check out the interior in this wagon and it looks like it should be in a $50.000 street rod or something. That is because some other friends of mine did own this wagon and they did the "custom interior" in this car and if you ever heard of Scott Interior in Louisville Ky. well Billy & Rose Scott owned this wagon and if you have a Scott Interior like this then you own part of history.
