Rat rods are all the rage and I have one for you. It is painted green with red primer shot over this to simulate surface rust and white pen striping details on the hood. This truck is a true RAT-ROD it is setting on a 1988 Chevy S-10 chassis with power disc brakes in the front and drum brakes on the rear. The engine is a 350 ci V-8 from a 1976 Chevy Caprice that looks to have been rebuilt and is really clean and runs great. The engine is topped off with a "EDELBROCK" Performer RPM intake with a 600 cfm EDELBROCK carburetor and chrome air cleaner that all looks "new". The transmission is from a 1986 Chevy 1/2 ton truck and also works great. It has a new set of "cherry bomb" mufflers to give it that old school sound. The cab of this truck is from a 1954 GMC cab-over witch is really cool because of the way the dash is made. The front-end and the bed has come from a 1947-1953 Chevy truck that gives it that older look than a 1954. The bed has also been shorted about 6 inch's to fit on the short wheel base S-10 frame. This truck sets on a set of 50's looking wheels and dog-dish hub-caps and trim-rings. It may look RAT-ROD but it runs and drives great as you set in the 1998 to 2003 Chevy S-10 60/40 seat that is in good condition with seat belts.
