This Classic 1950 Chevrolet DeLuxe 2 Door Coupe has the original 216 cu inline 6 cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission and it starts and runs as good as you will find. This Classic still has the original AM radio and original heater that has an option back in 1950. This Chevy has been changed from the original 6 volt to a updated 12 volt along with 12 volt alternator and 12 volt bulbs. We decoded the trim tag on the firewall and found trim: K is a Deluxe 21, paint: 423 was mayland black was the original color, int: 170 was gray stripe cloth interior and 50-1227 was the 2 door sport coupe and with 28,328 styleline's built in 1950 this coupe was number 1381 off of the line so it was a very early build. My friend had this car painted about 2 years ago two tone "robin egg shell blue with a white top" base/coat-clear/coat paint and it looks great. The car has never been "cut and buffed" and that would give the car even more shine. This car has really nice front and rear chrome bumpers with chrome bumper guards front and rear and a chrome grill that has had to have been rechromed in the past because of the great condition they are when. All of the stainless belt line trim and stainless rocker moldings on the car is in really great condition also. Along with the headlight rings and door handle guards. The aftermarket "peep mirrors" and "dummie spot lights" are add on's and in really good condition also. This Coupe also has a really nice gray cloth interior with with upgrades and carpet and after market Sun-Pro water temp, amp and oil pressure gauges to keep you informed what is going on under the hood. The glass in this car is all in great condition without any cracked glass and the windshield looks to be original and starting to show it's age. This Coupe sits on the original 15 steel wheels color matched to the car with the original hub caps and ribbed trim rings with a matching set of P215/75R15 Broadway Classic wide white radial tires with about 75% tread. I also have a pair of rear fender skirts that go with this car but they will need to be painted to match the car.
