"Super Solid" Classic 50's Custom Cruiser with an updated drive train !!! This 1951 Chevy Styleline DeLuxe has the looks of back in the day and runs and drives like a late model car. This Chevy had a total restore back in 2006 with new upgrades added then. This DeLuxe has a 5.7 liter 350ci V-8 engine and a 350 turbo 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes with a 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo rear-end with a 3.08 gear ratio. This Chevy has a "Heidts" cross member with Mustang II type rack & pinion power steering, 79 Monte Carlo factory tilt steering column with Billet turn, tilt and shift levers and a 1961 Chevy Impala steering wheel. "Vintage Air" brand air conditioning, heat & defrost. I just added a brand new direct fit 3 row aluminum radiator with dual electric thermostat control cooling fans and a billet polished aluminum overflow tank with a new 160 thermostat so it runs very cool. Electric windshield wipers. Factory gauges with the speedometer and gas gauge still works. aftermarket white face oil, water temp & amp gauge under dash. The exhaust is a set of "block hugger" headers with turbo muffers and chrome tailpipe tips and also the stainless steel "lake pipes" are also hooked up just take the caps off if you want loud exhaust. The engine was noted to be rebuilt in 2006 also and it runs and sounds great. The engine also has "Edelbrock" Torker II aluminum intake with a Edelbrock 650cfm carburetor with electric choke. Edelbrock chrome air cleaner, chrome valve covers, chrome 100 amp alternator and a GM HEI distributor. GM type fuse block with push-in fuses, air shocks on he rear and gas shocks on the front, peep mirrors, dummy spot lights, "cat eye" head light covers with headlight shades, 3rd brake light, blue dot tail lights, fuzzy white dice hanging from the mirror, door knob locks and tire valve caps and fender skirts give it that 50's look. This car also had all new glass added when restored and it also has a light tint on the glass. I added the new 15x6 "wheel vintiques" chrome smoothie with baby moon caps with "Coker Classic" wide white wall radial tires 165/80R15 front & 205/75R15 on the rear. The wheels & tires have less than 1200 miles on them and still look like new. This car was restored in 2006 with new paint, white leather interior, all new glass and the engine rebuilt. This car is a very solid car and the underside of the car has not been undercoated or even painted and is very solid also. I have owned this DeLuxe over 1 1/2 years and drove it almost 1300 miles without any trouble. This is a very good and dependable classic car and it turns heads anywhere that it is at. *NOTE* I am listing this Classic from my personal collection to help thin the herd a little because I have too many cars to take care of.
