1955 Pontiac Star Chief

I have just lowered the price on this nice classic car $1,000 so don't miss out on this solid original "rust free" 1955 Pontiac Star Chief 2 Door Hard-Top !! With more than I can take care of in my personal collection I am offering this classic to help thin down the herd. The Star Chief was Pontiac's top trim model and the 1955 was the 1st model year of the 2nd generation of the Star Chief model. The Star Chief model was offered by Pontiac from 1954 until 1966. I was told this car was built in the Southgate California GM Plant and it stayed in California all of it's life until it was sold and came to Kentucky around 2015. This Star Chief has the 287 cid "Strato Streak" V-8 engine with a newly rebuilt 2 barrel carburetor and a "Strato-Flight" Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission with a 3.64 gear ratio rear-end. This Pontiac has a lot of factory options like factory power windows and they all 4 work great, factory power brakes, factory AM radio with a factory power ant. The "Indian Head" trade mark hood ornament still lights up when the parking lights or the headlights are turned on. The polished stainless steel fender skirts and all of the polished trim on this car let's you know that it's from the 50's. The "Silver Streaks" that waterfall off of the hood and tail fins let you know that it's a Pontiac. GM named the color's on this car "Fire Gold and White Mist" factory two tone colors. I call the color root beer and cream like a root beer float. This car looks to have had only one repaint years ago and it still looks great. This Pontiac sits on a new set of 225/75R15 Futura 755 radial tires with the "wide whites" white wall tires give it that classic 50's look also. Along with the factory polished stainless steel full wheel covers. As you can see in the pictures the spare tire in the trunk still has the tag on it and never been run. This car comes with a few extra parts like a wheel cover, dash cluster bezel and back-up light bezel's. This car also comes with a copy of the new Pontiac Star Chief sales ad and a copy of the California title and a Kanter parts catalog. I have the trunk lock and key with the car also. About everything on this car works as it should like all 4 power windows along with the door locks and key, back-up lights, head & tail lights, turn signals and the gauges.
