GM offered only 8,588 Camaro's in this rare color for the anniversary model and only 1,254 Z-28 convertibles and only about 96 of those convertibles had this rare purple haze color. This Z-28 has the 5.0 liter "tune port injection" V-8 engine with a 4-speed automatic over/drive transmission and is loaded with options like cold air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power 6-way driver seat, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, delay wipers, fog lights, rear spoiler, Z-28 trim package, factory Delco AM-FM-Cassette Stereo with EQ, factory 16X8 Camaro alloy rims and center caps with a matching set of 245/50ZR16 Sumitomo HTR + all season radial tires with about 60% tread. This Camaro was sold brand new in Louisville, Ky. to a lady just south of the city. We purchased the car in July 6th 2014 and did the following new black convertible top and rear window along with new black carpet 2014. New base coat/clear coat purple haze paint along with the painted "heritage edition" stripes in 2017 and still looks 9 out of 10. New outside Z-28 emblems along with the tune port on the rear bumper and the Camaro emblem on the front bumper cover. I have the factory body side moldings that come with the car we just didn't have them put back on the car. New factory replacement seat covers and matching front and rear carpeted floor mats in 2022. We have had this Camaro in local shows and cruise-ins and it has always won an award. The most fun with this Z-28 was in fall 2019 on the "Covered Bridges of Ky" cruise though central and eastern Kentucky. Love this car buy just don't need two of them.
